Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made for Kerry's Gate Cabin. By confirming a reservation, guests agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Cancellation Terms

  • All bookings are subject to this Cancellation Policy.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • The date the cancellation request is received will be used to determine eligibility.

2. Standard Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings are non-refundable by default.
  • This policy is in place due to the small, independent nature of the accommodation.

3. Exceptional Circumstances

  • In certain exceptional situations, cancellations or date changes may be considered at the owner's discretion.
  • Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Approval of any exception is not guaranteed.

4. Amendments to Bookings

  • Requests to change booking dates must be made in advance.
  • Date changes are subject to availability.
  • Any approved amendments may incur an administration fee.

5. No-Shows & Early Departures

  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures.
  • Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled arrival date will forfeit the full booking amount.

6. Cancellations by the Owner

  • In rare circumstances where the owner must cancel a booking, for example due to unforeseen maintenance or safety issues, guests will be offered a full refund or an alternative date, subject to availability.
  • No further compensation will be provided.

7. Travel Insurance

  • Guests are strongly advised to take out appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellations, travel disruption, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

8. Policy Updates

  • This Cancellation Policy may be updated from time to time. The version in place at the time of booking will apply.
